About the Accommodation

Feel at home in my cozy "Mountain" home base with a view of the St. Georg Schanze. The apartment is furnished in a modern, natural mountain hut style. Located directly on the piste, you can be on the boards in a few meters in winter and at the bike park in 2 minutes in summer. The 40m² top floor apartment is very quiet thanks to first-class sound insulation. It contains a king size bed, sofa bed, a small but fine kitchen, smart TV with Netflix & SNES Mini, very strong WiFi & free parking. In summer you can use a communal terrace with a grill.

The 35m ² 2 room apartment is stylish, but also practical. You will find a number of extras here that far exceed the standards of normal holiday apartments. In the living area you will find a very cozy dining area with lots of pillows and seat skins. Here you can relax and eat and drink or put your feet up and watch your series on the large Smart TV with a Netflix account or while away the time with a round of SNES Mini. The "fake" fireplace creates a very nice atmosphere in the evening. From the cozy dining area you can look directly at the St. Georg ski jump. In this apartment you will find real plants and attention to detail. That makes the apartment a lot more homely than most apartments in Winterberg.


In the well-equipped open kitchen you will become a baristas with a Bialetti espresso maker and a fully automatic electric milk frother. Espresso and coffee are of course included. There is a ceramic hob, mini oven, kettle, "standard" filter coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, etc. It has everything you need for cooking. The kitchen is not large, but every free space is optimally used in the tiny house style (e.g. by means of a serving trolley or a matching bamboo cutting board above the sink for use as an additional work surface).


In the bedroom you will find a comfortable 180cm king size bed and enough storage space for your clothes. Another single bed (90cm) can accommodate a third person. From the window you look directly at the slope and the “Astenstraße” lift. The bedroom is very quiet, even if it faces the street, as the windows - like the windows in the living room - are equipped with triple soundproofing. In addition, whispered asphalt was laid on the said road in November 2020.


My apartment is family-friendly. Of course there is a high chair, a cot, coloring books and a few board games. The sockets have child safety and a CO2 alarm is installed. Of course there are also smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.


Bicycles can be deposited in a lockable shed. A small terrace in the countryside belongs to the apartment. It is located a bit offset next to the building and has a bench, chairs with adjustable backrests and comfortable cushions so that you can relax a little with a cold drink after a hard day in the bike park or on the slopes. A grill is also available.

You have the whole apartment to yourself. With a self check-in you have the possibility to check in flexibly without having to agree on an exact arrival time for the keys to be handed over.

In and around Winterberg, the Sauerland SummerCard includes all of the region's main attractions. The selection is so large that it is difficult to choose, so traveling by bus and train is also free.   


Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, the guest has to make a payment of 100%. (See invoice for amount, payment term and account details). If this payment is not received by the due date, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the booking.


Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will be canceled in full. Bookings canceled at least 7 days before the start of the stay will be increased by 50%. Cancellation within 2 days before arrival will be charged 100%.


The apartment is located directly on the slopes, opposite the ski lift and offers you a great view of the St. Georg Schanze. You only have to cross the street via the ski cellar, you can step on the board and you are right at the lift. No searching for a parking space, no waiting for the shuttle bus!

The Veltins ice arena and the adventure mountain cap is also only 1 km away. In summer you can take your mountain bike to the bike park or trail park for 2 minutes. Here you will find trails of all levels of difficulty. Several summer toboggan runs and a climbing forest are within walking distance. In bad weather you drive 2 minutes to the Barbander sauna or you can reach Aqua Mundo in 20 minutes by car. An indoor playground is also not far.

Three buildings further and a 3-4 minute walk is the Big Mountain Restaurant with a rustic atmosphere, breakfast buffet and delicious burgers (if you are vegan you will also find it here!). Here you can arrive in peace and enjoy the mountain atmosphere. You walk 12-15 minutes to the city center, but there are also many restaurants on the way there. A ski and bike rental is around the corner.

Despite the supposed “main street location”, almost nothing can be heard from the street due to the extremely good insulation of the apartment and the windows. In addition, whispered asphalt was recently laid. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and you have no one over you.


You can park in a free private car park just a few meters from the house.

5 minutes by taxi to / from the train station if you don't have your own car.

An ebike rental is located in the immediate vicinity of the apartment.
